Norton 360 Deluxe

Norton 360 Deluxe: Intelligent and consistent multi-device protection

Norton 360 Deluxe closes a security gap that is a big problem for countless private users: not all internet-enabled devices are protected by anti-malware software. Smartphones, for example, often have no such line of defence. This is a problem simply because such vulnerable devices are usually on the same network as the protected computers. Malware can then spread without the antivirus software being able to prevent it. Comprehensive and intelligent multi-device protection is therefore essential. Users who buy Norton 360 Deluxe get exactly that.

Protect all internet-enabled devices with a single piece of software

The name Norton 360 Deluxe already hints at it: the software promises 360-degree, all-round protection. This refers not only to threat defence, but also to what is protected. The average user can secure all their internet-enabled devices. The solution works for PCs, computers running macOS, and smartphones and tablets running iOS or Android. The Deluxe edition lets you equip five devices against threats. Which ones they are is up to the user. A family with four smartphones and one computer can protect all their devices just as a household with three PCs, one Mac and one tablet can. Thanks to this multi-device security, this edition is suitable for all kinds of private users: from the family mentioned to the individual user who has several devices and wants to protect them at the same time.

Comprehensive and intelligent threat defence

Users who buy Norton 360 Deluxe can rely on smart and comprehensive threat defence. The software analyses potential threats in real time and blocks them. The protection has several layers: it defends not only against malware of every kind, but also against spyware and ransomware. The Norton program prevents its users from being spied on or sensitive data from being held "hostage" by encryption in order to extort a ransom. A firewall ensures that most malicious programs do not even get through the front door. Just in case, 50 GB of secure cloud storage is also available so that you can restore backups without any problems. However, this feature should never be needed because of an attack: Norton promises to be able to remove all viruses.

Protect your privacy with Norton 360 Deluxe

Users who buy Norton 360 Deluxe not only secure their devices against threats, but also protect their privacy at the same time. A specially secured virtual private network, called Secure VPN, ensures that users leave no footprints online. It is impossible to trace which pages are visited and which services are used. Secure VPN also bypasses geoblocks. If certain websites can, for example, only be accessed from the USA, Canada or England, the VPN lifts this restriction.

PC users also enjoy the good feeling of not being spied on through their webcam. Via SafeCam, Norton 360 takes control of the camera. The program becomes a doorman that regulates access to the hardware. Because the software sits between the operating system and the camera, its protection cannot be bypassed. To put it figuratively: there is only one door to the camera, and Norton stands in front of it.

If children have access to the devices, the built-in parental controls let you restrict or block the viewing of certain pages or the use of specific online services. The built-in password manager ensures that unauthorised people cannot access your accounts. It also lets users work with secure passwords everywhere online – after all, they only need to remember the password for their account.
